The story of QUILTED starts with my husband's grandmother. The sweetest, warmest and kindest soul I know. Her big passion and hobby is sewing. She has been sewing for her family certain kitchen accessories, dresses for her grandchildren and other different products. She has four daughters, therefore she thought, she would pass on her passion onto one of them. Unfortunately, none of them were interested enough to actually start, being busy with their lifes, which is completely understandable.

So guess what? Her grandsons wife (me) was very handy, so she took the opportunity and purchased a sewing machine at a flee market in France. She just put me on the spot, so I had no chance to back out. Lucky for me (and her, haha), I love working and creating with hands, so I got to work. I was learning how to sew, watching videos, doing online workshops, just to get it all in my head and then pass it on to my hands, so they know what to do.

I absolutely fell in love with creating artful pieces. Each piece represents my personality. The fact I spend hours creating new designs, working with all types of fabrics and exploring new ideas warms my heart.

I have two little children, who are my absolute favourites. The love I have for them is beyond the world, but as we all know, motherhood can be challenging at times. Giving all yourself to these little creatures, who often are your biggest challengers, I felt I needed to find something just for myself... I needed something I could dive into, turn off my mind, just create and let my imagination lead the way. And so, QUILTED was born.
